Not sure what to say?

To the family and friends of Joy (Dixie), I am truly sorry for your loss. One night I wandered into an AOL chatroom and found DixieDarlingOne presiding as a matriarch of sorts over a room filled with genuine people (not a typical chatroom circumstance to be sure) cultivating genuine friendships. The conversations and humorous adventures I experienced in Dixie's room will remain on my hard drive forever. For those of us fortunate enough to have encountered Dixie in her room, I believe whenever...

Here I sit, in a moment of disbelief at the news of someone I've chatted with, laughed at jokes with, and exchanged ideas with in online chatrooms is no longer going to be there. We are the new, invincible Baby Boomers who transcend all thoughts of the After Life. Well, when the news of the passing of the vibrant, wonderful personality of Joys passing, it makes one wonder at our frailness. I can only say that talking, laughing and sharing time with Joy was a privilege that I embrace. God...

In loving memory of Joy Sullivan Bryant.

Miss Dixie, I never knew you as "Joy" just "Dixie" firey, feisty and full of smack - lol. The first time I ventured into "the room" I knew that bolt was eyeing me, yet somehow I felt we would click if you gave it a chance and yes, you did. Thank-you for the laughs you generated everytime I stopped in. I would literally giggle away at your antics. You became an online friend and I enjoyed sharing that time when I visited your room.
God Bless you Dixie Girl - You will be sorely...

Joy, Dixie,. I'll allways cherish the fun we had in your chatroom with you dancing on the table in your long flowing white gown. Oh how protective you were of your girlfriends with your ugly purse. You tried to keep out all people that would disturb the peace in your room. What precious moments we had together my dear dear friend. I will miss you allways. May God Bless you and keep your spirit on high.

My prayers go out to the family of "DixieDarlingOne" She will always have a special place in my heart and i will remember the nights we laffed so hard with her the tears ran down our faces. She will forever be remembered by the group who we all shared a special bond with.
God Bless

Judy

Dixieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ~
We shared so many great times in the room & I thank you for that. I'll always cherish those times & our friendship. As you enter that great "room" in heaven, I know your "profile" will be complete. (lol). Love ya Dix!

My thoughts and prayers are with Joy's family and friends. I will always think of her as Dixie -- my Southern friend. We laughed, shed some tears and fussed together. Hey Dixie....I'll have some gumbo ready when we meet in heaven! Love ya.
