Not sure what to say?

LC and Family: Kathe just told me of the loss of Joy. Through all your emails, I had no idea she was even sick. We are so very sorry, at least we know she is at a huge family reunion with our Lord and family members. Our prayers are with you and the family as the hole in your hearts are filled with only the good memories. God and our love to all of you,

L.C. and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Joy. I was out of town at the time of the services or I would have been there. Thinking about you all.
Kathe Cathey Newsome

We am very sorry for the loss of such a beautiful and sweet christian woman, yet comforted by the fact that another angel now sings and dances in Heaven. L.C., our deepest prayers are with you. Be comforted knowing that one day Joy will embrace you again...we love you, Dad.
Dana, Mazyn and Greg

To the family of Mrs. Cathey. I was so saddened to here of your loss. She was my 6th grade teacher at Hillsdale in Shreveport in 1965. Even though it has been many years, she has always been my favorite teacher. I remember her kindness and I always thought she was so beautiful. She touched my life in a special way, and I am sure many other children can say the same thing about her. After reading her obituary, I see that she was still the same wonderful lady I remembered from my...

Joy, you were an inspiration to me in growing up along side Patsy. She will greatly miss you, but knows you are with the Lord and your parents now.

I will always cherish those memories of our shared trip to the Holy Lands. We had such good times, with laughter, and really beautiful and inspirational sites. Memories are what keeps our loved ones in our hearts and thoughts.
Much sympathy to you and your family.
God be with you at this time of loss.
