Although I haven't seen Joy for years, I remember how sweet and cheerful she was when we'd talk while I was her kids' junior high English teacher. My prayers for peace are with her family as they adjust to this huge loss. God be with you.

Years ago when I lived in Modesto, and met Joy, there seemed to be an instant bonding of the hearts. I was privileged to know her and to learn from her great wisdom - in all of life's adventures. Even being far away, and out of touch, I have continued to think of her as an important part of my Christian family.
I am sorry for your loss, yet I rejoice to "see" her walking, literally, with Jesus!!
