Feerick Funeral Home - Shorewood Obituary

Found peace on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 90 years. She is preceded in death by her doting husband Richard “Dick” Klee, her parents Lurid and Viola Crisp, her infant sister Carol Mae, sisters Althea Warren, Cindy Blank, Jeanne Hervey, and Dona Beaudoin, brothers Dickie, Donald, Harold, Jerome, Dale, William, Joseph and John Crisp, as well as brothers-in-law Dennis Roux, Keith Ellison, Gene Warren, and Richard Beaudoin.

Joy is survived by her children Paul Klee, Nancy (Glenn Deutsch) Klee, and Mary (Tim) O’Connell, and her grandchildren Henry and Abby. She is also survived by her sisters Judy (Paul) Kress, Francine Roux, and Jeanine Ellison; sisters-in-law Kim Henderson, Joyce Crisp, Leeann Crisp, Karen Boucher, and brother-in-law Erv Blank. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Over the years, Joy developed a network of dear friends, including lifelong friendships from her childhood that are deeply cherished. Joy’s generous and thoughtful spirit meant that she was consistently there for others. Without fail, she made sure that her family had what they needed, and she was always prepared with a card or gifts to send for all occasions. Joy rarely did anything without having a friend or family member in mind. She enjoyed playing tennis with others, and she had an eye for a good sale. Joy was known for being determined, compassionate, generous, chatty, and just an overall a warm and caring person to be around. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park (13235 W Capitol Dr. Brookfield, WI 53005) on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00PM.

Joy loved Christmas and the season of giving. In her memory, please donate to your local giving tree food pantry, library, or other reading literacy organization.

Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for the passing of your darling mother. Mary, she must have raised you and your siblings well. You keep her name alive as you bring "joy" to so many around you.

No better name for your Mom than Joy.
I have many lovely memories of your Mom from our young years, and throughout running into her after High School she was always so kind and genuinely interested in spending time catching up. She was Joyful. Sending warmth and love to you all.

Dear Paul, Nancy and Mary..sending you all peace and love and warm hugs. Your parents were both such a part of my childhood. Many fond memories and I trust those memories will keep you all comforted when needed. With sympathy, Jean

The Feffers have been thinking of you continually and are sending so much love. Her name matches her non-stop smile. We love you!

To Nancy and Family
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. May God wrap His loving arms around you and your family. I do also hope for His compassion during this difficult grieving time.
Love Cherie and Roger

Dear Paul, Nancy and Mary,
I have so so many wonderful memories of your Mom during our amazing days growing up in WFB and at Bay Shore. I know my Mom treasured her too! I take great joy in knowing that they are in their heavenly home planning for some fun adventure this Christmas season.
Wishing you much peace during this difficult time.

As always,
Heidi Lang Rosati
