She joined me at Sisters of Providence Health Plan and worked with me as an administrative assistant and quickly became a very dear friend. She was a very bright, patient and loving person who always gave 120% to everything she did. I will always have very fond memories of Joy.

Joy was an outstanding friend and volunteer to everyone at The Assistance League of Greater Portland. What a role model for all of us. Caring and committed to every aspect of this organization. Joy was recognized for all of her work with The Ada Edwards Laughlin Award, for a member who works behind the scene and makes a difference for the chapter. No one deserved this award more than her. She will be missed.
