Although I never spent a lot of time with Joy, I have thought of her frequently. I probably only met her 3 or 4 times but I remember her presence well. What a loving, wonderful person she was. My husband used to golf with Joy's husband, Bob, and with Wendy Parlee. I remember when Bob died, so suddenly after his diagnosis with cancer. How sad we all were.
