Dear family and friends of Joy, my sincerest apologies for not having reached out earlier. I only just heard this news. Joy was dynamic, gifted and a dear friend. Her energy abounded,I cannot think of any one who had her stamina and perseverance. I will miss her dearly. Penelope Wurr

It is hard to believe that Joy has passed. The Brattleboro-Guilford Vermont area is poorer for it. Joy was a multi-talented artist, singer, and organizer, whose influence on the area was profound. I personally benefited from her generous support of various of my projects. Her insistence on quality was so important to me. Although we haven't worked together for many years, I will not forget her going above and beyond on many occasions. I will especially miss seeing Joy at the Community...
