Read MoreJoyce was a 2nd cousin who first contacted me in the early 1980s while she was compiling the family tree. Her father, Robert Roberts, and my father, Victor Genel, were first cousins. While her sons were students at Notre Dame they visited us in Connecticut. I never saw the completed family tree.
