Joyce Alexander

Joyce will be missed every time I walk into DAC. She welcomed me when I was a new golfer and I enjoyed playing golf with her. She and I had been trading plants lately. I have one that has come up just last week. I also have some seeds she gave me just before she became ill. She always had something funny to say to cheer everyone. She was a sweet lady who will be missed.

Joyce was so nice to me and everyone else, always had a quick comment and smile. We traded plants and I will cherish my flowers/ferns that remind me of her green thumb!

I will miss her smiling face and the fun we always had playing golf together. DAC and all the golfing girls will deeply miss her.

It is so hard to express one's feelings when a person like Joyce leaves us. Our family will always remember how she always welcomed us & the way she went out of her way to come by at Gene's parents to visit with us when we were home on leave, as well as her other kindness to all. I personally admired all her creativity. We are praying for all her loved ones in their time of loss. We truly regret that we can not attend her services but hope this note and flowers will help bring a small amount...
