Avery cousins, wife's, grandkids and great grandkids,
Our condolences to all of you. It's so hard to lose someone we love, especially the Matriach of the family.
I know the past few years Aunt Joyce was not doing well. I still remember
her how I knew her--very good natured, smiling and laughing. The last time we
visited(Troy & I), she was living at
44th & Breton.
Whoever wrote the obit sure did a fantastic job. Not only very interesting, but I read things...

Dear Jim, Dean, Marv and Alan,
What wonderful memories I have of Van
Allen Street and the Avery Clan! How I longed to be included in the soft ball games, hide and seek and football roomps. Your Mom would often find me crying by the horse field when I would be told, "no girls allowed". She was always there with a hug and a cookie to console me! Thoughts are with your family as you celebrate your moms life.

Dear Alan, In reading your Mom's obituary it is easy to see she lead a very fulfilling life. It is also easy to see why you are the respected, good person you are in taking after her! My sincere condolences to you and family... Todd Householder

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Many wonderful memories came back flooding back as I read her story. Your mom was the heart of the neighborhood... there when we got hurt, or in trouble (often simultaneously), through our many stages of "growing up". You had the greatest mom and the best back yard (horse field).
Thinking of you all at this time.

Dear Al, Marv, Jim and Dean,
Our sincere condolences to you all. While not being blessed quite enough to have lived in your neighborhood (I asked my folks to move there many times ;-) I can distinctly remember both of your folks and it always seemed to me like the Ozzie & Harriet show only with 2 more boys. The encouragement and compassion displayed by your folks and instilled in you led to some fantatsic T-giving football and the best rafts for the WLAV raft race. Knowing the...

The Avery Family: I never felt more welcome in anyone's home than I did in yours. Your mom always welcomed me with open arms, and she will be missed.
