To family members of Joyce Virginia Ball,

This is on behalf of Hui-fu Wang and Rui-zhen Zheng of Beijing.

Joyce was our English tutor when we were the visiting researchers at Syracuse SUNY Medical Center from 1987-1989. We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn that our dear Joyce has passed away. Many years since we left Syracuse, we can still recall vividly her friendly smiles, her kindness, and many of her warmhearted and selfless helps.

To Joyce's Family,

Joyce has irreplaceable influence on me, my wife (then-girlfriend), my Mom and my sister. She is a great role model with her open-mindedness, generosity, social consciousness, and her many life-long consciences pursuits. She is a great personal friend. She has always been a good listener, a cheerful companion, and an Honest source of ideas and opinions. Her friendship is genuine and enduring. To the friends and family of Mrs. Ball,
I'm very sorry for your loss. The loss of a dear loved one is a difficult thing to go through. I have found alot of comfort in the Bible. Especially from Isaiah 5:8. There it says that God will swallow up death forever. This is a promise form God which means it will come true. Hopefully this will be as comforting to you as it has been for me. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
