I first met Professor Barrett as a second year law student in 1991. I admired her then and hoped I could one day be half the attorney she was. It was an honor to know this extraordinary woman. Her kindness was immeasurable; her knowledge remakable. May her memory be eternal. Safe home Joyce.

So sorry to hear about Joyce I attended all of her domestic practice seminars she was a godsend to all lawyers. She knew more about domestic law than anyone that legal community has lost a great legal talent.

Dear John and Family: So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. I will always remember her from the time I worked at the Standard Building for my dad from 2005 to 2013. My family and I always appreciated Joyce and John generously hosting at their loge at the Cleveland Indians baseball games for many years. My family and I will continue remember you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Joyce will continue to live on in our hearts.

Jennifer, I remember being at Hillcrest Hospital when you were born. So many stories, so many memories and so much admiration for this lady who was a leader in the family law community. Joyce and I were colleagues for more than half a century in addition to being good friends. We shared a love for the legal profession, and there was no finer family law attorney than Joyce Barrett.
