One of my fondest memories of Joyce was the time when she was a youngster at NCSD and the teacher stepped out of the room for a short break. Our always- curious Joyce opened one of the computers to find out once and for all if there was really a "little man" that lived inside the computer and made it work, as the teacher had told the class. Joyce wanted to know, and took the necessary action to find out.
She was a brave, fun kid who grew up in to a lady who always had a smile and a good...

I met her through her friends. She was so sweet and I enjoyed getting to know her. She will be in a good place. God Bless her.

Joyce will be greatly missed by all of us. She kept her spirits up when she was very weak and knew we all cared about her.Now she has entered the "pearly gates of Heaven"I will miss her jokes and her lovely smiles.

Joyce, you was my very best roommate for 4 1/2 years when we needed our help for each other and I surely do miss you so much with all the good times we had together for nearly 40 years of friendships. May the good Lord rested you in death in peace of mind and love!

As little as I knew her through the NCSD Class of 1970 Reunions, she was a joy to be with, fun loving and boy was she funny. I know her Class will miss her deeply and I offer my thoughts and condolences and hope that the memories you shared with her will help you through this sad time.
