BLOMMEL, Joyce Ann, 70, of Bon Air, joined the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2008, surrounded by her family at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. She was born November 7, 1937 in Richmond, Va. to the late John Lewis Pulley and Annie Mae Pulley. Also preceding her in death is her brother, Albert Pulley; and her in-laws, Anthony Blommel and Marie Blommel. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Patrick Joseph Blommel of Bon Air, Va.; her daughter, Dr. Julie Lynn Blommel and her husband, Rick Aasen of Charlottesville, Va. She has three grandchildren, Annie Elizabeth Aasen, Kristian Patrick Aasen and Laura Elise Aasen. Also surviving are two brothers, John Pulley and his wife, Judy, of Moseley, Va., Linwood Pulley and his wife, Patsy, of Mechanicsville, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Bernard Blommel and his wife, Sonya, of Montpelier, Va. and Michael Blommel and his wife, Rita, of Hardysville, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Johanna Chavis of Richmond, Va. and Norma Pulley of Prince George, Va. She is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral service will take place Friday, 12 noon. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Forest View Rescue Squad, P.O.
