Joyce was born in Flint Michigan on February 27, 1935 the daughter of the late Paul & Mabel (Allore) Hubbs, and has resided in the Davison area most of her adult life. She was joined in marriage to Dennis Brandt on November 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2013. Joyce was an avid camper and a member of Avion Camper Clubs which she enjoyed immensely. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren to whom she was simply "Gigi" and was the driving force that gave her the strength to return home during her sudden decline in health. She later was employed by Hansen Funeral Home until her retirement. Surviving are children Tammy (Steve) Grandstaff, and Steve (Sally) Brandt. Her cherished grandchildren: Alexis (Richard) Schneider, Amanda (Jeremy) Zaneske, Jonathan (Katrina) Brandt, and her great grandchildren: Abbigail & Izabelle Schneider, Brooklyn & Austin Zaneske, and Mila Brandt, and Joyce's Grand pup "Kui". Not sure what to say?

Joyce was the mother of my friend, her daughter Tammy Brandt Grandstaff and Tammy's husband Steve Grandstaff. I met Joyce only once at their home, and know from that meeting and Tammy and Steve's frequent mentions of her, that Joyce was a lady, a ray of sunshine and a sweetheart. May she continue to look upon her family with the pride of one who has earned it. She will always be with you.

Tammy and Steve so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was a Great Lady. All Our Love and Prayers to you and your Family.

Our most sincere condolences for your loss. May you find strength through prayer and may God comfort your hearts. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17)

My deepest condolences to Tammy and Steve for the loss of their mother. My parents lived next door to the Brandts and I always thought of them as my extended family. I remember when Dennis first brought a girl home. As the kid next door it was fun to see Joyce become part of the Brandts and I remember going to their wedding!! My sympathy to all the Brandts and to Joyce's family. She was a lovely person!

So sorry to learn of the sudden passing of Joyce. My sincere condolences go out to all of her family.

Doris J. Stark, Avion Camping Buddy

Joyce was a childhood friend and classmate. I was with Dennis and Joyce on the occasion of their marriage in 1952. We were saddened deeply by Dennis' passing and very much saddened by Joyce's passing. We loved you ,Joyce, and thank you for your tender care Dennis during his long battle with kidney failure. We remember you both lovingly as you joined your Beecher friends at the 60th Reunion of the Class of 1952. We pray for you now as you move into God's kingdom. Peace to your family, Liz and...

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one.

Joyce was a beautiful soul, inside and out. I feel honored to have known her for a short time. She has been missed here at Winter Ranch RV Resort for the past two years. Prayers for her family during this time.

My dear friend will be greatly missed. Joyce was an amazing woman and she was like a big sister to me. We spent many hours talking about the family she loved so very much. She was very proud of each and every one of you. She also loved her sisters and brother very much. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss her too.
