I am so heartily sorry to have heard last Friday, when I stopped by my son's house, that Mrs. Joyce had died. She was always a good friend, had an encouraging word for everybody. Last time we saw each other was at Charlet for someone else's funeral. She said to me, Isn't it a shame that this is the only time we get together", and then she said that "you know I am now 80 years old." She looked like a woman of 50 and I told her so. So sorry for your loss. A wife / mother may be the best care taker and friend we will ever have. It is a blessing that she lived to see grand Children and even a great grand child.
