Joyce was a good friend, good church going member of St. Thomas. Her smile and presence will be surely missed.

Joyce was a great friend to me. By chance and blessings, our lives first converged when Joyce and I became friends on our dormitory floor at the University of Mississippi in 1973 where she was studying geology and I, biology. We shared stories of our childhood outdoor adventures. I was amazed that a brown recluse spider bite had changed the color of her skin on the back of her leg from top to bottom. Joyce was the most wonderful cousin. She was smart, funny & the life of the party always!! Last year all the girl cousins on the Sealy side drove from Memphis to visit Joyce & Jim for a few days. We loved seeing their beautiful home, visiting antique shops and just having a great time! They served us prime rib & extended super hospitality. Every corner of their house had interesting & unique items. The balcony had birdfeeders & a fabulous view of the mountains. It was a one of a kind...
