Dearest Nick and Wendy,

Hearing of Joyce's passing brought tears to my eyes, but many wonderful memories came to me and comforted my heart. And you both have many wonderful memories to comfort you at this time. It feels good to know that there is one more angel in heaven to watch over you and your family. I'll never forget drinking grape Kool-Aid in your home and playing on your front lawn for hours, knowing that Joyce was always watching over us.

I love you so much. You were such a wonderful human being and your absence in our family is heartbreaking. But I take great comfort in knowing that you suffer no more and you were welcomed into Heaven by Grandma's open arms. Thank you so much for taking care of my mom while she took care of you. You will be terribly missed and forever loved.

Nick & Wendy: My heart goes out to you both, the pain is unbearable, but God only gives you what you can endure and Joyce will be within your hearts and souls for the rest of your lifes. I will never forget the HAT party Sonny and I had back in 1968 (you had to wear a hat to get in the party), well here comes Nick and Joyce, you could see Nick's hat but not Joyce's, NO she had this black hat no bigger that a timble pinned in her (already) dark hair that we had to dig through her hair too...
