Joyce R. Caprio

Very sorry that I am coming late to this site. Just a quick story. "Miss Caprio" was my first grade teacher at Goodman School in 1965/66, which was only several blocks away from our home. I fell in love with her! At the end of the school year, I asked my mother if we could go and buy Miss Caprio a gift. We did, and selected a pretty brooch, which we sent to her. I remember that she wrote me back a personal thank you card, which I treasured:-) I think she must have been a marvelous teacher...
