To Joyce's family, so sorry for the loss of your mom/grandmother. She was always so funny at work. I'm sure you will miss her very much as she will miss all of you.

I am so very sorry to hear of Joyce' s passing.How does one put 40 years of wonderful memories into a small message. Boy, we had fun at the switchboard at 50 State St. I shall remember the many laughs .

To the Carestia family, I got to know Joyce while working for Spfld Police. Every time I had court her and the other operators were always the first people you would see. After some time, they would be my first stop. She always had a smile and made you feel like a human being. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
