My Dear Unk and Godfather, This was such a beautiful day of rememberance of Aunt Joyce. She lay so ever peacefully and beautiful as always. I will always keep dear the memories of her gentle spirit, warm hearted giving of one self, the twinkle in her eye, and always her sweet soft spoken voice. This is how I will always remember my sweet Godmother.

Mama Joyce was a wonderful mother in law. I never heard an unkind word from her. She had a great sense of humor and as everyone has said a great smile. The Donaldson family has taught me about "Family Love", and who better to learn that from than Joyce and LeRoy
I am extremely grateful to have known Mama and to know she is in heaven with Mitch. Louise

I had the pleasure and honor of being a part of the Donaldson family for nearly twelve years. We had many Sunday dinners and BBQ's together at their family home. Some of my fondest memories are adventures we had going hunting, fishing or digging clams. Joyce and LeRoy have always been second parents to me and I lovingly call them Ma and Pa. Even though our formal relationship ended, I have stayed in touch with Ma and Pa over the years. Ma had a great sense of humor and was wicked good at doing the crossword puzzle in the newspaper. She was a proud homemaker, mother and had a lot of class. I am very thankful to have had her in my life and am grateful I had the opportunity to visit with her and tell her I loved her shortly before her passing. I will miss her greatly.

Dear Uncle Roy,
It's been so long since I had seen you and Aunt Joyce but I have great memories of visiting you and our cousins as Mom, Dad, Cheryle and I "came through town" on the way to another Army assignment for Dad. The memory of both of you together is one of laughing and happiness. May Aunt Joyce rest in peace and my deepest sympathies to you. She always smiled so sweet!
Love,

We wish to express our deepest sympathy to all of Joyce's family. She will surely be missed especially her smile! She was always so upbeat and positive in such an innocent way. God Bless...
