I am late with this message, Joyce was my mentor when I first starting working as a counselor at Linn Benton Community College.
I will always remember her wisdom and kindness to this day. I was so fortunate to have known her and so sad to hear of her passing.

Talking with Joyce and Ed at our summer July Eliot camps at Seabeck, WA, was always a delightful experience. One time, my family and I were hiking at Devils Punchbowl on the coast north of Newport when we saw Ed and Joyce stroll down the same trail in the opposite direction. Of course we stopped to visit. It was such a surprise and a great memory to this day! Sending peace to the Easton family at this sad time ...

The Easton household was a childhood favorite, and Mrs. Easton was my first choice for a backup mom. I will continue to remember her fondly!

Remembering Joyce and Ed warmly welcoming us as new faculty--1961. Joyce helped us as new parents to get started in Corvallis community.
We still use the pork/rice recipe given to us in the early years.
Only fond memories!

I first met "Lindy" at the Corvallis/Albany community college while taking a class there in 1971. Later she became a founding member of the feminist consciousness raising group I and friends formed at OSU. Our group met regularly to share our hopes, dreams and feminist awakenings for over 30 years.We had at least one beach
