I met Ms Joyce when my mom came to Village at the Oaks...I enjoyed singing with her. Our favorite song was You Are My Sun Shine, My Only Sun shine. She would great me with a smile and a "howdy doody". When she met my husband she would tell everyone, "that's my son." We will miss her sharp wit and warm smile. Rest in peace sunshine.

What a lovely, joyful, Christian lady! I absolutely loved listening to her stories of how she met the love of her life, Harry Arthur. I never grew tired of listening to her. She had so many wonderful stories to tell and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get to know her! My condolences to Melinda and the family. Laurel Parrott

Incredibly, at age 100, this summer she sang her high school fight song for me while I visited her in the cafeteria at the nursing home! What...

The Erwin family lived across the street from my family through all the years of my childhood. Their daughter, Diana, was one of my best friends for many years. Because of their invitation to attend church services, I found not only my faith in God, but eventually my husband of now over 60 yrs. For the great impact this family had on my life, I will be forever grateful. To Daniel, Melinda, Rhonda and all the rest of the family, my thoughts & prayers will remain with you always. May many...

What a beautiful picture! She was quite a mentor to me. I've thought of her often and I'm not surprised that she lived such a long life. I pray that Joyce rests peacefully in the comfort of her Lord. May Harry be at her side.
