Joyce was a classmate, who lived across the hall. I loved her music and upbeat personality. We just celebrated our Harper Hospital School of Nursing 50th Reunion. She was mentioned as we gathered on September 10th. Her dear friend Ruth told us Joyce wanted to come, but was not feeling well enough to attend. We did not expect to learn so shortly after of her death. Her photo in the obituary was so her, her attractive bangs, big smile, and long hair as she wore it when we were student...
