Not sure what to say?

Joyce was instrumental in my parents' meeting - she welcomed my father who came as an overseas student to Syracuse University in 1951 and quite possibly introduced him to my mother. Tom, her first husband, was best man at their wedding in 1954. She continued to correspond with the family for the rest of her life. We are all thankful for her enduring friendship. Condolences to all the family from the Wailes family.

My friendship started in 1975. I started taking Dressage lessons with Joyce at her farm. We worked together for 3 years and then she sent me off on my career in horses. She instilled in me ethics, tenacity and great technique. Thanks to Joyce I always had great remarks on my riding. We have kept in touch all these years and I considered more than a friend but a mentor. I will miss her wonderful enthusiasm about horses, and her love for Dressage. I will miss her so. RIP Joyce.

What a wonderful, wonderful woman was Joyce. So much good life advice and wisdom she shared. She had a magic communication with horses and riders. I will never forget her lessons or her, she will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

She will be forever in our thoughts and memories.

Sending love and prayers to Joyce´s family during this difficult time.

Many prayers to all who loved her.

Thoughts and prayers for the Vickers family.

Joyce was a great lady & a dear friend. Through the years she has spent here knowledge of dressage to instruct me, my daughter & my granddaughter. Rest in peace dear friend..

My mother, Virginia Torelli, my wife, Cindy Torelli, and I all received dressage training from Joyce over many years. Joyce was a wealth of knowledge and a talented, dedicated instructor of the sport. She represented dressage in the best tradition. We were all privileged to have been her students. AJ Torelli
