Like many of the recent messages, I “knew” Joyce through her artwork. I have a beautiful watercolor of Egg Harbor titled “Low Tide,” which I’ve loved since the day i saw it. I was recently taking stock of the many works of local art I have around the house, many by Joyce, and I stumbled upon her obituary! I am so sorry to hear of her 2018 passing. I have her art in my bedroom, hallways, and living room - and have given a few away as gifts! I only stopped buying her art because my walls are filled! When my family lived in Annapolis, we bought many pieces of Joyce’s work at various festivals. To this day, we have that beautiful wildlife on display and receive many compliments on it. Because a friend inquired about “the artist” and how to find her work, I sadly discovered her passing. My sincere condolences to her family. Claire Broughton, Wilmington, NC.
