Joyce's memorial is beautifully written and underscores, at several points, her many impressive accomplishments. I was especially attracted to the range of her interests from Castlemont honors; to undergraduate and graduate degrees; to professional work in teaching, finance, and distinguished journalism (National Geographic); and, finally, to her service on several non-profit boards.
