Dear Bill and family,

I just read of Joyce's passing in the Modesto Bee Obituaries, on the internet. I am so sorry to hear this news. I remember you and Joyce about as long as I can remember anything. You were always there. I do so appreciate the friendship you had with us through the years. I know my mom and dad loved you both very much.

We live in Indiana and can't make it to the memorial service, but please know we are praying for...

Joyce proved her relationship with the Lord by her faith and hope in every thought I ever heard her express. I knew her only from our talks at church before and after services at Calvary Chapel over the past 5 year, but her impact has left an impression on my life of a great intercessor for her family. My condolences to the family. Sorry I can't make the service, but I have an engagement then. Joyce was always so friendly, so full of the love of the Lord. Her heart was really for His Kingdom. I'm glad for encounters with her in my life since the 1950s. May all of you sense God's Peace.

So sorry to here about Mrs. Grover. Was so appreciative when she came to pray for my dad in his final hours, and will always remember her as a great person. Miss the "Old Days" when we were all young! Take care and God bless you all.
