oh,gosh a wonderful person i have known for almost 50 years.my dad adored her as did all the attorneys in the office.she was a great dresser and was beautiful in her personality and dress.i'm sorry to see Joyce pass. my condolences to all the family

To one of the best 2nd mother figures in which Greensboro, N.C. ever had as a life long resident. I was so honored to have met this entire family sometime in early 1978. It was through Erich and our VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP with the GREENSBORO POLICE EXPLORER POST as POLICE EXPLORERS........... I think Joyce got so tired of hearing the "chatter" of police talk every time Erich and I stepped in the house. Erich and I would debate issues all the time only for Joyce to turn this chatter into...

We are sorry for your loss. We didn't see your mother much but after meeting her I know she was a very special lady. The last time we saw her was about 3 or 4 months ago she was visiting you Erich & was happy & smiling as usual. I think she was a hard worker and loved her work from what I have heard. I believe you have some good memories. Praying God's peace to you.

I never met your mom, but I knew Robin well. I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard of Robin's passing this past year and I was sad to hear of that as well. I'm sure they are together again. Be well and may God give you peace for your losses.

I was fortunate enough to work with Ms. Hackney for several years at Brooks Pierce. She was deeply respected and adored. She was an institution and will be greatly missed.
