Joyce was the reading teacher at Wayne Trail Elementary School in 1982. I was the brand new first grade teacher! She gave me a book called "Recipe for Reading". This gift from Joyce shaped the rest of my teaching career:). Thanks to her, I used what I learned from her precious gift to plan and implement my reading and language arts lessons.
