Joyce and my mom, Laura Spillers knew each other for about 40 years. They were co-workers, garage sale buddies, church friends and more. They laughed together and made those around them laugh, too. Whenever I took mom to visit Joyce, she always said, “Quick! Make me jealous: tell me what you’ve been up to!”. She was always kind-hearted with a ready smile and a listening ear. What great friends they were, and will be again when they meet again in heaven.
