Joyce Christine Hedlund

Joyce was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1963, a good friend from high school days in Los Angeles. She and her late husband Richard were sweethearts since 10th grade, and both were kind and generous, making their home a central gathering point for friends and family. Joyce contributed so much to her community and her sudden death reverberates in so many places.

Joyce was an amazing woman! Every time I saw her, she made me smile and laugh. She was candid, compassionate, firey, and loving. She would often talk about the love she had for her family and tennis teams. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing her.
