Read MoreI first met Joyce in third grade. She was covered head to foot in winter wear. She said she was from Georgia. I loved her accent. We became best friends. We went to our first dance together. We had a lot of fun in the short time she lived in Omaha. Joyce moved the end of ninth grade. We stayed in touch all these years. I will deeply miss her.
