KENNEY, Joyce Mines, of Richmond, departed this life August 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Stuart Mines Sr. She is survived by her husband, Terry Kenney; one daughter, Keneishia Davis; two sons, Davonte and Evan Kenney; one grandaughter, Khayla Davis; mother, Marian Mines; one sister, Jacquelyn Mines; one brother, Stuart Mines Jr.; two aunts, Edith Ready and Bernell Luck; two uncles, John Luck and Woodson Mines; a host of nieces, among them one devoted, Raiesha Mines; nephews and cousins; her mother-in-law, Sweetie Mae Kenney; five sisters-in-law, Paula Mines, Deborah, Yvonne, Denise Kenney and Marie Kenney Jones; five brothers-in-law, Ulysses, John, Harry, Gary and James Kenney; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 4247 E. Creighton Road, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Lance D. Watson (pastor) officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends, assemble at the church 10:45 a.m.Tuesday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.

Joyce Kenny , you will also have a place in my heart.....

I just recently found out about Joyce passing. I use to work at the main post office in Richmond Va. Joyce was a wonderful lady and an a outstanding supervisor. I felt like sun shine was passing my way every time we talked or she pass by. We love you Joyce and the Lord does too.
