Not sure what to say?

I was so shocked as well to hear that Joyce had passed - we worked together at Kalamazoo Pediatrics. Joyce was very sweet and someone that I will always remember. My heart goes out to your family!

I was shocked to hear of Joyce's passing. Joyce was a beautiful, sweet, caring person. Joyce and I went to Libbey High School and the last time I saw Joyce was a few years back when she met Ruthann and I for lunch when I was in Toledo for a visit. My sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Tom,
Cathy and I are shocked to hear of Joyce's passing away while we were going through the blade on line Obituary pages. We are in Florida now and won't be back to the Toledo Area until Dec.18th. Please accept our condolences.

Joyce and I go way back to elementry school days. We lost touch until one day a number of years ago when she stopped by our old house on Beechway and caught my sister, Jo (probably getting the house ready for sale), talked to her and she gave my sister her Michigan address and my sister gave it to me. It was with such great joy we reconnected again. She even shared some old school pics she sent to me and she remembered when we used to play together on the lawn. For awhile she emailed me...

Dear Tom and Family,
I was so shocked to hear the news of Joyce passing. You and your family have our deepest sympathy. I called Barb Leathers who now lives in Minnasota and she sends her sympathy. We all loved Joyce with her wonderful smile and most loving personality. Bless you all

DEAR TOM AND FAMILY,
OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
I WAS SO SHOCKED. A FEW OF HER GOOD FRIENDS REMEMBERED HER TONIGHT AND ALL OUR GOOD TIMES NOT ONLY AT LIBBEY BUT AFTER WE GRADUATED TOO. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Uncle Tom, Tommy and Lisa,
Our family has suffered an incredible loss with the passing of Aunt Joyce. As so many others have stated, Aunt Joyce always had warm smile on her face and when you talked to her, it was like you were the only person in the room; she cared sincerely about all of us. I'm glad she was my aunt.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the family of Joyce,

So sorry for your loss. I had not seen Joyce for many years but just this week came across an old photo of her from high school. We were classmates at Libbey High School - class of '62 and saw her last at our 25th reunion. She was such a lovely person. My sincere sympathy and prayers are with you.

Dear Tom, Tommy & Lisa,
Our hearts are with you all. We all loved Joyce so much as she was always there for my children and I. Her spirit made her so special and that smile we will never forget. I just heard today and I am so sorry that we were not there with you. Love to you all,
Dee Boyer, Michelle Hoxworth, and Ryan Seymour
