Joyce L. Knapp

It is hard to believe that my good friend, Joyce, has been asleep in death for a year now. I really miss her phone calls, her concern for me, and her prayers for me. She is asleep in Christ and I look forward to the time that we will see her once more. For our Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. Joyce along with all the saints of God will come forth, changed to be like our glorious Lord, and rise to meet our Lord in the air....

Joyce was a remarkable, beautiful, godly woman who always displayed the character, compassion, and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. I was blessed to have her as a friend. She was a true prayer warrior who called periodically to see how I was doing. What a blessing she was to me. she and her prayers for me will truly be missed. Mrs. Knapp was a very nice neighbor on Colrain Street and she was always sweet to us kids on the block. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Pati (Sarber).

Grandma Joyce, I was sorry to read of your passing. You were a staple at Brookwood and I'll never forget your love and dedication for the children there. I was sorry to read that Paula had passed. Alecia and Rachael were friends in elementary school. I know you are now in the presence of Jesus and happily reunited with your husband and Paula.
