Not sure what to say?

And now, after all these years and even decades, her energetic and charismatic smile is so alive in my vision and memories. My sister, Barb, was her neighbor (at one of her many houses) and I knew her through Barb. But the outsized effect she had on me as an example of positive and productive living will stay with me always. Still miss you, Joyce.

I think about Joyce often, her beautiful smile, great life and zest for life. Joyce we all miss you.

Joyce and I flew together in the early 1980s with United Airlines. She was a vivacious and lovely woman, loaded with charm. I lost touch with Joyce and Tom several years ago, but at holiday time I always think I will try to find her. I am extremely saddened to hear of her death. My sincere sympathy goes out to the family.

Dear Uncle Tom,
I am so sorry for your loss, and it is truly a loss for everyone who knew Joyce. There are so many great memories I have with Aunt Joyce; but what I remember most is how she could light up even the most dreary room with her loving and charismatic presence. I would like to thank you both for all of your long-traveled visits from the west over the years. I cherish all the time I've spent with you both. They were always fun and entertaining, but, most of all, filled with...

Joyce's legacy of setting a quiet example of how much good can be done in ones life is nothing short of stunning. I have known her for decades but saw her seldom. She was always so cheerful and "about the other person". And now in passing, I finally learn all that she did for others in so many avenues of life. How lucky each of us was whose lives were touched by her.

Joyce and I are first cousins so I have memories of her as we were growing up. I always thought she was the most beautiful girl...like a model. She was always so nice to me - soft spoken and always very elegant and sophisticated. Love her and will miss her. So happy she will be there to greet me in Heaven when the Lord decides to bring me to my eternal home.

Joyce and I went through school at southeast warren together. Many though we were brother and sister, no cousins. Joyce was a very accomplished and active person. I am greatly surprised by her passing and how quickly. Now that she is on the other side I hope her reward is great. I hope that all her family can be strong at this time. I give them my love an support.

Joyce and I go back to her "Nordstrom" and St. John days.
I was shocked to hear of Joyce's passing. She was so vibrant and alive. Always ready to take on the day. Always fit and beautiful ... inside and out.
We will all miss her. So sorry for your loss

Joyce brought her own amazing bright spirit to our Ludlow community. We miss her and have spent time together talking and remembering our experiences with her. A life well lived with love and energy. My thoughts are with you all. Pat Pearson
