Not sure what to say?

There are no words to describe how Mrs. Lamar impacted my life. She was the first teacher I ever had, and she always showed me compassion and love in everything she did. She went above and beyond for her students, as well as everyone she knew. When I had the privilege of being Mrs. Lamar's teaching assistant at DCA many years later, she taught me how to be very firm, while still being kind and loving to your students. She was an inspiration to me as a teacher and she challenged me to do...

John, Gina, Wes, and Family, Joyce was a dear and precious friend, co-teacher, and prayer partner for thirty years. She loved to bless others and was passionate about missions and DCA. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Heaven rejoices but I grieve for my loss in my friend. Love, Sympathy, and Blessings to the Family.

Joyce was a beautiful example of how a Christian lady should be. She was wonderful to my daughter and myself, especially when my mother passed away. My prayers are with you and the family during this time.

Joyce was a sweet, caring Christian lady. We're thankful that God created her and let us know her. We'll be praying for you, John, and your family.

Joyce at 93rd B'dy party of Virginia Lyon

I met Joyce through my Aunt Virginia, a resident of the Mennowood. Joyce and Virginia were church friends and I learned that Joyce was quietly providing a service ministry for Virginia. She was lovingly providing her organizational skills to manage Virginia's appointment schedule and taking her to the appointments. Virginia celebrated her 93rd Birthday in June 2013; Joyce and John joined with family and friends for the party. Joyce's dedication to the call to service was truly a gift and...

Our deepest sympathy goes out to John and the entire Lamar family as we hear the news of Joyce's passing. She is a great servant of our Lord and is a woman of Christ. Heaven received another wonderful angel!!

I had the pleasure of working with Joyce for several years at DCA. She taught both of my children as well. I was so thankful and blessed to call her my friend. My heart is so sad to know of her passing but I know Heaven has a wonder angel I know she will be watching over all of us. I know John and her children will miss her and they are in my thought and prayers.

To John and Family, I have known Your Family for Many Years, With the News of Joyces Passing, I am Deeply Sorry for Your loss, My Thoughts and Prayers are With You and your Family. Thanks for All you do, David Millsap

In honor of one shining upon us from above. Our prayers are for those here, may your light warm our souls and continue to help direct our pathway to HEAVEN. thank you JESUS
