Joyce Lewandowski

In loving memory of a wonderful, kind person. I´m from Foley and knew Joyce and Alan when I first worked in St Cloud. We roomed in the same house. I am sad to hear of her passing,

Working with Joyce at UT Press was always interesting. She was a hard worker who rose to every challenge, from transitioning accounting software (more than once!), taking accounting from print and paper publishing to digital publishing, to coordinating the move of the Press from one building to another. She was an extraordinary problem solver and so smart. She dealt with campus bureaucracy with a deft hand. She was thoughtful and kind. Alan and Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss, she was...

I am so sad to hear about Joyce. I enjoyed working with her at the Press; she was a quietly supportive and encouraging presence to me during my time there. I will miss her, and I send my love to her family and friends.

I'm so deeply shocked and saddened to hear we've lost Joyce. She was not only a great coworker but a kind friend. She provided a great deal of support to me and my mother after my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few years back. My thoughts and sympathies are with her family. Having recently lost my mom, I know how devastating this is. Take care of yourselves.
