Joyce was one of the first people I met after relocating to Dallas in 1985/1986. Always friendly and outgoing, Joyce and I formed a relationship as co-workers and as friends. I was deeply sadden to learn that such a bright spot in all the life's she touched had been called home. All my Prayers to the Family.

I just found out about the passing of Joyce today and was shocked and sadden to hear the news. She and I worked together at IBM some years ago. We became good friends and had some fun times together. My sympathy to her family and friends. And, may the Lord bless and keep you all.

I met Joyce and Lionel who were leaders in our Disciple Class at St. Luke CUMC. Never have I experienced such a dedicated and God-fearing couple. Lionel's devotion to Joyce was the most touching and exemplary examples of how God wants us to be as a couple. Lionel, your love for Joyce will never fade and you will find that although you cannot see her physical body, she will never leave your thoughts and continue to be by your side. I was deeply saddened at hearing about the death of my friend and Sorority sister. Joyce will be missed by her church family, and I will miss a very loving Christian friend.

To the Lewis and Woods families. Thank you for sharing Joyce with us... her St. Luke "Community" UMC family. Her years of many service working in various areas of the church has truly been a blessing to all. In season and out of season during sickness and in health. Well done servant well done. We thank God for the gift and we will miss her.

I also met Joyce when relocating from North Carolina with IBM in 1986.
She showed me all of the shopping spots in Dallas. We had some good times together.
She also introduced me to St Luke Community UMC which I will ever be grateful for.

We met Joyce in 1986 when we transfered to Dallas from NY with IBM. Joyce was very kind in showing us around. We will miss her very much and our hearts go out to the family. God bless her and we know that she is with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Trust in the Lord, for he is just and has his plan for Joyce.
