I just noticed that your mother passed away. I am so very sorry. She was a great friend to my mom and then to me. She and your dad square danced with the group of criends.

Joyce was an inspiration. Her heart was in the right place - always wanting to help others. I remember her 90th birthday party where she asked that people donate to The Heifer Project in lieu of gifts. That pew in the front will always make me think of her. She was very fortunate to have her family also - you took such good care of her when she needed it. A life well lived and a model to us of what is important.

Fond memories of Joyce working at Old Sturbridge Village. The best museum education teacher ever! Her ability to instill interest and curiosity in young learners was a joy to watch. Connections made - learning enriched, memories taking root in eager young minds.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I have fond memories of her as a substitute teacher and from church. I hope you and your family are well.
