This is Lissa Podrid Gross and Ellen Davis Weisman. We are childhood friends of your devoted wife and mom Joyce. We lived within 1/2 block of each other in Brooklyn, and were literally the "three musketeers". We used Joyce's stoop in front of her house as our meeting place, and every day we would come together to discuss our teachers, homework, parents, and of course boys. I am so sorry for your lose. It is not easy losing a parent this I know first hand. My dad passed away at a young age when I was 19 of similar circumstances. Joyce was a special person. I was very fond of her she touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. Marcie held a special place in heart and will keep her memory alive always. Don't hesitate to call us if you need anything.
