Not sure what to say?

Joe and I took turns driving to camp Waterloo in the early 1970,s, about 6 years. We learned a lot about each other, Joe was a very special person. I cherish the time we spent together.

A dear, dear man. Hard working, thoughtful, non-judgemental, with great stories to tell and a great sense of humor. Always positive and just a joy to be around. Very blessed to have known him and crossed his path. He will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences to the entire family for your loss. Such fond memories of standing along the highway waving to Joe and the troops headed to Camp Grayling. Carrying stones to the stone bolt to clear the fields, it was a different time. I was always so proud of him. May the peace of God be with you.

To the entire Long family and extended families. We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Your family has wonderful memories to hold onto. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless

JOE;
Thank You for your Service. We are forever in your debt. Condolences to all.

Thoughts and Prayers are with the Long family at this time. Joe's loving memory will live on in his many family and friends.

One photo that I took was of the old field-stone fence, covered with light snow and blue afternoon shadows, which led up to the barn. The hard edges of the bright red barn, although a...

You will be loved and sorely missed Grandpa.

My condolences to the Long family. Captain Long and my father served together in the Michigan National Guard for several years.
