Eisenhour Funeral Home - Blanchard Obituary

Carolyn Joyce (Boling) Maeder died January 11, 2022.  She was received into the eternal presence of her Savior from her home of over 28 years in Dibble, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years.

Born October 2, 1933, in a house in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, she moved with her farming family to Big Cabin, Oklahoma early in her childhood. Joyce had wonderful memories of her raising on the farm in Big Cabin. Following High School graduation, she moved on to Tulsa where she met her future husband. They proceeded to enjoy a military career in the Air Force until the mid-70s, traveling to distant countries and various states while raising a family to eventually include five children. Following her husband's death, while in her mid-50s, she studied in college for several years to fulfill a desire to challenge herself in that arena. The final chapter of her life included several decades in Blanchard, Oklahoma fully involved in being a magnificent granny to an extended family.

Preceding Joyce in death are her parents, Clarence and Ruth; sisters, Dolores and Margie; husband, Albert II; son, Albert III; daughter, Melanie; daughter-in-law, Susie; and grandson Nathan.

Surviving Joyce is a brother, Melvin "Tuffy" of Edmond; son, Mark and wife Tammy of Meeker; daughter-in-law, Martha of Norman; son, Daniel of Blanchard; daughter, Angela and husband, Gary, of Dibble; and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Midway Southern Baptist Church located at 22489 Highway 76 in Blanchard Oklahoma 73010.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
