Not sure what to say?

When we would come to visit Joyce in Michigan.. she would go out of her way to welcome us. She was a wonderful person and loved

We are saddened to learn of the death of Joyce, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in North Borneo.

Joyce, it was a pleasure to have known you. You came into our lives when your granddaughter, Jeni married our son, Brian. You were a vibrant friendly person. You will be missed by all who knew you.

Aunt Joyce was a very wonderful woman. As part of her "Pennsylvania family" I will miss her many comments about my granddaughter and how engaging she was with my daughter. She could always find something in common to converse on. I loved her private messages on politics! I will miss her.

Family of Joyce: What a wonderful legacy she has left. She touched so many lives for the better in her life and career. I am one of them. I had the pleasure to know her in her time as Director of Student Affairs at GRJC and had so many wonderful conversations and learning experiences with her. Caught up on occasion in later years when I could and was always welcomed with open arms (and a hug!). Rest In Peace.

I was President of the Student Congress when Joyce came on as Director of Student Activities. She would be and always was my best go-to advisor regarding all issues with the congress and student clubs. After graduating I...

Aunt Joyce was such a wonderful, caring person. When she was in the room it was alive with laughter and tales. She lived a wonderful full life and will be remembered and missed by anyone whose life she touched. I will miss her wit and charm. She embraced and loved her "Pennsylvania Family" as they loved her.

What a wonderful legacy. I remember joyce from grcc and she continues to love and serve others. sympathy to all.

This really made me sad. I was one of Joyce's students at Washington Junior High in Pontiac. I was also one of the students that cried when she left for the Peace Corp. She was so loved. After graduating from Central Michigan I accepted a job in Grand Rapids. Unknown to be Joyce was working in the administration of GR public schools. I was on the "fifth" floor one day and she came walking toward me. My heart was so excited and it was so wonderful to reconnect. Also at that time our...
