Joyce Bates Nanos

Joyce and I were on the same faculty in Perry for several years. I loved her sense of humor, her talent and her quality of spirit. I came to value her as a personal friend and was sorry when she moved away, even though I knew that was a good choice for her. She definitely was a role model for me early on. Over the years, I have very much missed her and wonder how her life was going. It was nice to learn she found a fulfilling life in Wyoming. I extend my sympathies to her family.
