Joyce O'Connor

I knew Dick and Joyce when they lived in Aptos. Dick was working for the San Francisco Giants as one of their official scorekeepers. My girlfriend Liz and I were invited to their Aptos home on a few occasions to celebrate Joyce´s birthday as well as mine (both in July). Dick was a baseball guy, and Joyce always had a love of opera. One year we had dinner with them in Scottsdale during spring training. Joyce was a star at Star of the Valley Parish, always welcoming, interesting and a fashionably dressed lady. We miss her spirit of joy and love, but know she is now with the angels.

I am Joyce Passetti O´Connor´s first cousin. Her mother and my mother were sister. I remember Joyce being very kind to my brother and I. Joyce was 22 years older than me. I do remember Joyce taking me to the ballet when I was only a little girl. The ballet was a magical place for me.
