Sister Joyce OSGOOD

Sister Joyce met with my mother several times during my mothers illness. The change in my mother was noticeable. Peace and surrender took the place of uncertainty and loneliness. Sister Joyce knew what it takes most of us a lifetime to learn. Life is Death and Death is Life.

When my Mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she requested a visit from a Catholic sister. Sister Joyce visited her. My mother benefited from her sessions with Sister Joyce. My mother spoke of peace and acceptance. My mother told me, as her oldest child, that when my time is near, I should embrace it. My mother died peacefully and happily. I believe Sister Joyce helped her leave this life behind to experience the profound joy that only death offers.

God bless you Sister Joyce. I loved working with you at Good Shephard Hospice. You were an inspiration to me. May you have eternal peace.
