JEFFREY 'RADICAL' S. RAPP, 46 ROCKFORD - Jeffrey "Radical" S. Rapp, 46, of Rockford lost his 8 month fight with lung cancer. Surrounded by his wife, brother, and loved ones, he went home to be with his mom and dad on August 31, 2014. Jeff was a longtime Header Operator Supervisor at Zip Fastener Products Inc. He loved playing his drums, fishing, and being outdoors. Jeff especially had a love for animals like his two special kitties, George and Lizzie. Survivors include his wife, Christine Rapp; daughter, Leah; brother, Roger (Cindy) Rapp; niece, Tiffany (Justin) Davis; great-niece, Rebekah; and two special friends, Jaeson Fischer and Xay. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Gloria Rapp. The family wishes to give special thanks to Don and Tammy Perry, OSF Hospice, and Dr. Tanya Munger for all their help during this difficult time. Memorial service at noon Saturday, September 27, at 7317 Belvidere Road, Caledonia; with a Jeff Rapp Benefit to follow from 1 to 5 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in his name and you may donate at any Chase Bank.
