Joyce Luceile Palczewski

PALCZEWSKI, Joyce Luceile - Of Suttons Bay, formerly of Flint, age 85, died Monday, July 9, 2007 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. Funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Karen Williams officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation 4-8PM Thursday and 10AM-1PM and 2-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Joyce was born in Flint on November 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Lewis) Rogers. On August 2, 1947 she married Joseph Palczewski in Flint and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2003. Joyce was employed at General Motors, Buick from 1947-1954 and Sears with 10 years of service, retiring in 1985. She was a member of The American Business Women's Association, Candle Glo Chapter and a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church. Joyce dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. The love she shared will live on forever. She will be deeply missed. Surviving are son, Donald S. Palczewski of Suttons Bay; daughter, Karen S. Gleiser of Holly; grandson, Jake R. Gleiser of Holly.
